Back to the Planet – The Word C4 – 1993

Probably the best live TV thing we EVER did. We were nervous but we utterly smashed it! I’d seen Rage Against the Machine on The Word previously, not sure if the other band members had, but I knew from that that you could go as crazy as you liked. So Fraggle went bananas running all over the place, jumping on Terry Christians coffee table. We never got to meet Terry but he seemed OK. They are totally staged these “live” shows, with a guy there to warm you up, like a Mr Motivator type character. Really Cheesy and patronizing, but when we kicked off with ‘Turtles’ the place went NUTS for real and we loved every second of it.
